Its cultivation allows to extract a huge number of fibers, did you know that each cotton ball that you see in the plant contains between 10,000 and 20,000 fibers? Imagine the amount of thread that is extracted from a single crop. This is surely one of the main reasons why it is so used to make clothes and, above all, children's clothes. But there are more reasons why it is so popular.
Being a natural and plant-based fabric, it offers great comfort to the people who wear it. It is very breathable, does not generate as much heat as a synthetic fabric, nor does it cause excessive sweating. In summer it is ideal to be dressed fresh and in winter for the body to perspire under the many layers of clothing that we are wearing. In addition, it does not cause allergies, which makes it important for making clothes for children with atopic skin or skin problems.
